Dalton is a professional marine surveyor with a strong background in maritime operations, vessel handling, and technical inspection. He brings years of military maritime experience, including leadership roles in small‑craft operations where precision, safety, and accountability were essential.

He is a U.S. Coast Guard–licensed 100‑Ton Master, an IYT 200‑Ton Master, and a Chapman School of Seamanship–graduate Yacht & Small Craft Surveyor. As a member of the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), he performs every inspection using recognized industry standards and best practices.
